How TO - Flip Card
Ok so I am a newbie to java coding and I have an assignment to do a coin flip program. No problem there, except he also wants the program to skew the results. So, in the coding we have to add a ratio or some coding to improve the chance of either heads or tails???
Jeanne Boyarsky. I like Michah, A ratio or percentage is a good way to think of it. I feel slightly dumber than my IQ but I am not really sure, I have tried changing numbers around within the coding and it has not changed anything, thanks ever so much for the help! Scanner; import java.

I tried changing your. See this ideone example. Got it!!! Created a whole new class and bingo I haven't a foggy clue what was really wrong with the other just now but creating a whole new class and creating from the beginning did it!! Thanks ever so much, you confirmed that my code was likely right but something else was a miss so I went digging!
Do you think you might be able to help, I would sure appreciate it in bunches! I swear my IQ is just fine but this stuff has me just a little batty trying to get used to it and learning it! Ganesh Patekar. Welcome to CodeRanch! Glad to hear you got the solutioncan you please post the solved code so It may also be helpful to others who perhaps have same problem.
Of course you can create a separate topic for your new problem, volunteers who knows the answer will definitely try to help you.
Ok so he isn't preferential of the boolean method what other way is there to represent 50 : 50 or 60 : 40 or etc??? Knute Snortum. What "boolean method"?Little Elephant was fond of inventing new games.
After a lot of research, Little Elephant came to know that most of the animals in the forest were showing less interest to play the multi-player games.7 part differential hematology analyzer price
In this game the player will use N coins numbered from 1 to Nand all the coins will be facing in "Same direction" Either Head or Tail ,which will be decided by the player before starting of the game. The player needs to play N rounds. In the k -th round the player will flip the face of the all coins whose number is less than or equal to k. Elephant needs to guess the total number of coins showing a particular face after playing N rounds.
Please help the Elephant to find out the answer. The first line of input contains an integer Tdenoting the number of test cases.
Then T test cases follow. The first line of each test contains an integer Gdenoting the number of games played by Elephant. Each of the following G lines denotes a single game, and contains 3 space separeted integers INQwhere I denotes the initial state of the coins, N denotes the number of coins and rounds, and Qwhich is either 1, or 2 as explained below.
For each game, output one integer denoting the total number of coins showing the particular face in the end of the game. In the 2nd game in Example: This is similar to the 1st game, except Elephant needs to find the total number of coins showing Tail. So the Answer is 3.
Please see the final state of the coins in the 1st game. Fetching successful submissions. Program should read from standard input and write to standard output.

For a class I am taking, I have to write a program that looks at the out come of a coin toss for, and tosses. I am also required to keep count of the longest sequence of heads or 1's and the longest sequence of alternating head and tails Here is my code so far: Code:.
Make some counters for "last", "longest heads", "longest tails", and "current run". Track what the last coin flip was. If it's the same as it was last time, see what you need to update. Pesudocode would basicly give you the answer, so I won't post it. But with what I've suggested above, you should have it in no time. Foiled again. Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment. I wrote a program to do this just because it interested me.
Here's the results I got so you can compare it to something when you've finished the program I won't show my code until you've figured it out since it's homework and all If you understand what you're doing, you're not learning anything. Originally Posted by kazuakijp.Gladiator tray bed

Annoyingly enough, the change involves rotate the front and back elements instead of just the container. Skip to this section if you'd like the Internet Explorer code. CSS animations are a lot of fun; the beauty of them is that through many simple properties, you can create anything from an elegant fade in to a WTF-Pixar-would-be-proud effect. One CSS effect somewhere in between is the CSS flip effect, whereby there's content on both the front and back of a given container.
This tutorial will show you show to create that effect in as simple a manner as possible. Quick note: this is not the first tutorial about this effect, but I've found the others over-complicated. Many other tutorials add additional styles to code samples which then require the reader to decipher which are needed and which aren't.
This tutorial avoids that issue, providing you only the necessary styles; you can pretty up each side of the flip any way you'd like. There are two content panes, "front" and "back", as you would expect, but also two containing elements with very specific roles explained by their CSS.
The origin of the flip must be updated and the card rotated the other way:. Internet Explorer requires significant modifications to the standard flip code because it has not yet implemented all of the modern transform properties. Essentially both the front and back elements need to flipped at the same time:. What's better is that there's actually very little CSS involved. This effect would be really neat for HTML5 games, and as a standalone "card" effect, it's perfect.
Can you think of anything else you'd use this for? Regardless of your stance on pornography, it would be impossible to deny the massive impact the adult website industry has had on pushing the web forward.

Problems with a simple coin flipping program. Hi, Although I have had a few years of experience with C programming, I still consider myself a fairly new user.
This is because my debugging skills are primitive and I still can't seem to get around simple errors. I was writing a code to: - flip a coin a times - display "heads" or "tails" as each flip comes up - count the result of each flip, and display percentages of heads and tails when its done Although I initially wrote another code which worked fine, I decided to simplify the code.
However, I get a few errors, which I cannot seem to get around. Look out for a missing opening brace: Code:.

Always use -Wall when building. More warnings will be issued, and that's a good thing. In any case, use -Wall. I can't stress this enough. Hey sorry to be a pain once again, But I'm not quite too familiar with the -Wall concept.
Can you please elaborate or refer me to a site or tutorial that provides an overview of this. And yes, I'm using gcc. But I was unable to figure out how the debugging works for this program, as I have tried performing breakpoint debugging, but was unable to activate it in the editor.
All problems in computer science can be solved by another level of indirection, except for the problem of too many layers of indirection. Hey vart, I was actually looking over that link you posted. I still don't know how to use the -Wall command when compiling, and what the purpose of it is. On the link, it just states that -Wall is a combination of such and such. Sorry, still a newbie. It bumps up the warning level.
